Why should you volunteer with Scouts?

  • Do you want to do something challenging and stimulating?
  • Would you like to meet new people and make lifelong friends?
  • Can you help to encourage young people to adopt core values such as integrity, respect, care, belief and co-operation – and help them to develop their potential while having fun along the way?

If so, you could be the person we are looking for.

  • Adult volunteering within Scouts is varied, interesting, stimulating, but always worthwhile.
  • Whatever your background and experience, there are many roles in which you can help, with differing levels of commitment.
  • If you are considering volunteering, with 1st Barnton or elsewhere within Scouting, please do feel free to contact one of the team for an informal chat about opportunities and potential roles.  Either click ‘Join Now’, or contact Alan at alan.chapman@midcheshirescouts.org.uk.
