Cub Scouts (8-10.5)

We run an exciting and varied programme at Barnton Cub Scouts including activities such as pond dipping, fire-lighting, rafting and camping.

During our weekly sessions Cubs learn lots of traditional Scouting skills such as knots and lashings along with a big helping of active team games.

Usually working in a team known as a Six, Cubs get the opportunity to progress through that team to become the deputy or Seconder and finally become the lead Cub called the Sixer.
